Making a drawing journal looks like it feels.  Shredding up pieces of experience, scrounging for the most interesting bits and mashing them into a coherent image. Stripping something down to it's core emotion and making it into something that can be observed and reflected on objectively.
On the left is my old cat (old because he was murdered by coyotes in the front yard whilst I was on vacation). His name was Duane Barry, named after the X-Files character who was an alien abductee and referred to himself in the third person.
   This chapter of the Journal had a card theme so I gave him the "dead man's hand". Literal enough for ya?..
Oh. and he also had his own Facebook page which is still up. You can add him. I'm sure his ghost will accept your friend request.
